In 1863, with grade construction going on up the East Tuneangwant line from outside Bradford to the Lafayette Coal strip mines, I am sure the Orange was there carrying iron rails for the new rail line. And by 1864, reaching the area of the 1864 Arch Bridge and crossing over, after the sleepers and iron rails were put in place.
The Orange continued her work on the Bradford Branch of the Erie, finishing the rail line up through Big Shanty to Buttsville in 1866. Then, in 1870, she was called back to the main lines of the Erie Railroad, repaired and run on the Erie, as the Number 401. It was said that she may have continued working into the 1880's on different Erie rail systems. She ended up at the Susquehanna railroad shop on display, then finally disappearing, probably ending up as scrap metal. The old Erie mascot had a long life helping construct many lines in New York and Pennsylvania.
