Someone sent me your site - It's wonderful. I too was born and grew up in Bradford
Now I'm in Florida - trying to do a book of the history of old Lincoln School.
Do you by chance have a photo of it for my book cover? Would love to see
anything Lincoln related. I grew up in the 50's and 60's. What a wonderful time!!!! Suzie

History helps us understand where we have come from so we can better chart where we need to
go in the future. ::::This is a wonderful new resource for Bradfordians and all regional historians
and a great new regional contribution to local history. We love it.
::::Congratulations from the Planet Smethport Project.::::

My parents grew up in Bradford, and one grandfather, Albert Eisenman owned
a meat market there until the mid-1940s, when he died. I sure had fun looking
at your site and remembering my dad's stories. Thanks for a job well done.

I too, grew up in Bradford and attended the Lincoln School.
Really enjoyed all of the stuff about Bradford. My father also
worked at Lincoln School as many of you probably remember
him.(Ralph Holzwarth) I now live in Farmers Valley.

What a phenomenal undertaking with a great result.
You brought back many memories of having grown up in Bradford.
It’s amazing that “how much it’s changed, how much it’s remained the same.”

Thank-you for a very informative site on Bradford, PA.
Our Blaisdell family was well known and involved in the Bradford community,
and it was fun working with David Rathfon on this project.(see Special Projects)

What a wonderful site!  Thank you, thank you.  I was born in Bradford in 1956.
Lived there until 1965 and moved to Calif. with my parents and sister.  I now live
in San Jose, Ca.  My family history goes way back on both sides of my family.  I
am interested in genealogy and have relatives that have worked on our family tree
on my mom’s side of the family.  I am trying to work on my dad’s side.

It is so interesting to see these old photos and try to think what it was like for my
ancestors.  I may have something to contribute.  Will have to check and see.

I love this site, the pictures, and the history. I have never been to Bradford
but my roots go back to the 1800s in Bradford. My father and his family
moved here, "Tulsa" in 1921, he was only 8 and always had wonderful memories
of Bradford. They left family behind, Quinn, Atkins, Lynett, Mcdermott and more,
but lost contact over the years. I remember he spoke of High St, Forman St,
St. Bernard, and Tidewater Oil where his father worked.
Thank you so much for this wonderful visit.    Sincerely, John A. Quinn

What a great site! I was born and raised in Bradford, as was my Dad. The photos brought back
lots of memories, and also gave me a look at what Bradford was like when my Dad was young.
Every hometown should have a site like this!

A truly fabulous site...quite a walk down memory lane. Some pix way before my time and a lot I remember vividly.
I will always remember Bradford as home of the "Zippo" lighter and Kendall oil and of course Case knives. Someone
put an awful lot of work into this site.  "THANK YOU"  I'll be back, I only looked at a few.

I just wanted to extend my appreciation for this site. I am currently working on putting together an extended family genogram
and this website has offered me more information and enjoyment than I could have ever imagined.
My entire family, and I mean ENTIRE family, is from Bradford, PA.
I just wanted to say what a great website and collection of unique photographs and memories you have offered me!
